Yvette Chapman brings 20 years of experience to CompuMed as a strategic advisor.
For decades, we have been a trusted name in remote diagnostic solutions, focusing on the subspecialties of cardiology, pathology, pulmonology and radiology. In the field of organ donation and transplantation, we serve 67% of U.S. organ procurement organizations (OPOs), leveraging modern technology, round-the-clock customer service and some of the nation’s top subspecialists to help streamline the organ donation process and enable better transplant decision-making. In her advisory role, Chapman will provide strategic insights and operational expertise to support CompuMed’s efforts to help maximize organ utilization, increase transplant rates and ultimately save more lives.
With over 20 years of experience serving the organ donation and transplantation community, Chapman has held many clinical and leadership roles at OPOs and hospital systems. She is the owner and principal consultant at PulsePoint Strategies, which is dedicated to expanding transplant access and enhancing patient care nationwide. Additionally, she has experience serving as the interim director of transplant at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA), the vice president of transplant services at Methodist Dallas Medical Center and in several leadership roles at Southwest Transplant Alliance, one of the nation’s 55 federally designated OPOs.
Chapman also contributes her expertise as an advisory board member for Taylor’s Gift Foundation and has held leadership positions with the Texas Transplant Society (immediate past president), the International Transplant Nurses Society (past president, DFW Chapter), and the National Transplant Leadership Council. She is an active member of the American Society of Transplantation and the North American Transplant Coordinators Organization (NATCO).

Chapman’s personal journey in organ donation and transplantation began over two decades ago. As a nurse, leader and former microbiologist, she has always been drawn to the intersection of science, medicine and human connection. Meeting patients awaiting lifesaving transplants, donor families making selfless decisions and the dedicated professionals working tirelessly to make transplantation possible has only fueled her passion for supporting the community.
